SMS Opt-In & Consent
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Hosperly is a property management platform used by hospitality hosts and property managers ("Hosts") to manage reservations and communicate with their guests. This page explains, in full, how and when a guest ("you") agrees to receive SMS text messages related to a reservation.
Program name
Hosperly Reservation Notifications, sent by Hosperly on behalf of the Host you booked with.
How you are enrolled — there is no Hosperly sign-up form
Hosperly does not operate its own consumer-facing booking form that a guest fills in directly. Instead, enrollment happens as a byproduct of completing a reservation:
- You book a stay directly with a Host — either through an online travel agency (OTA) such as Booking.com, Airbnb, or Expedia, or through the Host's own direct booking website.
- As part of that booking flow, on the OTA's or Host's own page, you provide your contact details, including your mobile phone number, and agree to that booking channel's own terms — which include being contacted about the reservation you just made.
- That reservation record, including your phone number, is synced to Hosperly through an official channel manager integration so the Host can use Hosperly to service your stay.
- Because you already agreed — on the OTA's or Host's own page, at the moment of booking — to be contacted about that specific reservation, Hosperly sends you SMS messages on the Host's behalf that are strictly limited to servicing that reservation.
In other words: consent to be contacted about a reservation is collected once, at the point of booking, by the channel where the booking was made — not a second time by Hosperly. Hosperly never uses a phone number obtained this way for anything other than servicing the reservation it came from.
What you consent to receive
- Booking confirmations
- Check-in and check-out instructions or reminders
- Arrival coordination and property access details
- Other updates directly relevant to your stay
These are transactional, reservation-related messages only. Hosperly does not send marketing SMS, does not use this contact information for its own marketing purposes, and does not sell or share your phone number with third parties other than the messaging providers strictly necessary to deliver these messages.
Hosperly Reservation Notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies depending on your reservation and is not recurring. Reply HELP for help or STOP at any time to opt out of receiving further SMS messages. You can also contact your Host directly to update your communication preferences.
