SMS Communications Policy
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Hosperly is a property management platform used by hospitality hosts and property managers ("Hosts") to manage reservations and communicate with their guests. This page explains how and why Hosperly may send SMS text messages to guests on behalf of a Host.
Where your phone number comes from
When you book a stay through an online travel agency or booking channel (for example Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia, or a Host's own direct booking website), you provide your contact details — including your mobile phone number — as part of completing that reservation. That reservation information, including your phone number, is shared with Hosperly by the booking channel through an official channel manager integration, so that the Host can manage and service your reservation.
Why we send you SMS messages
On behalf of your Host, Hosperly may send you SMS text messages that are directly related to servicing your reservation, such as:
- Booking confirmations
- Check-in and check-out instructions or reminders
- Arrival coordination and property access details
- Other updates relevant to your stay
These are transactional, reservation-related messages sent on behalf of the Host you booked with — Hosperly does not use this contact information for its own marketing purposes, and does not sell or share your phone number with third parties other than the messaging providers strictly necessary to deliver these messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies depending on your reservation. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of receiving further SMS messages, or contact your Host directly to update your communication preferences.
Questions
If you have questions about the SMS messages you have received, please contact the Host you booked your stay with, or reach out to Hosperly at support@hosperly.com.
